Dallas–Fort Worth, TX Press Releases
|
(Dallas.CityRegions.Com, June 19, 2015 ) Sherman, Texas -- A Cut Above Cutlery, based in Sherman, Texas, announced the launch of their new website today.
Company spokesperson Zoe Nichols commented "We're really excited about the new site. Everyone in our marketing department worked night and day to get it out quickly! Of course, our "marketing department" is mostly our founder, Theron...", she added with a laugh.
The new site features links to the company's initial product offering on amazon.com, and also shows a sneak preview of a coming addition to the line- a steak knife set photo on the home page.
Additionally, links to product information is included, with more to come in the near future as the line is built out.
Finally, the new site includes a blog written by company founder, Theron Andrews. "The blog, called A Blog Above , will span a host of topics from knives to cooking. We hope our customers will also give us great ideas about things they'd like us to talk about too, which is why we've included a Contact Us page." Nichols concluded.
Founded on the premise that home cooks deserve quality cooking utensils at a price that won't break their budget, A Cut Above Cutlery is the brainchild of veteran retail marketing executive, Theron Andrews.
"I love cooking but found myself between a rock and a hard place when it came to kitchen knives- there seemed to be two options, super-expensive and grocery-store-cheap", Andrews said in a recent interview. "Cheap knives can really take the fun out of cooking, but I just couldn't justify spending big bucks for expensive brand-name knives. Let's face it, I'm not a professional chef by any stretch of the imagination. I just want to enjoy the time I spend cooking meals for my friends and family."
Tired of buying disposable knives that "had a hard time sawing through melted butter", Andrews set off to establish some middle ground in the world of kitchen knives. His overarching mission, he says, is to help home cooks "rediscover the joy of cooking with quality, affordable tools". He concluded by saying "After all, good food is about spending time with those you love, not worrying about your budget."
The 8" Chef's Knife is available now and can be purchased at amazon.com. Other products in the line are expected later in the year.
